We invite you to join the River Valley Alliance’s Community Engagement Committee for a scenic bike tour.
What to Bring:
- BYOB (Bring Your Own Bike or E-Bike): Ensure your bike is in good working order. One of our members will be available to assist with any bike issues, and we will have a first-aid kit on hand.
- Weather-Appropriate Clothing: Dress according to the weather conditions, and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

Parking Lot located across the road from the West River’s Edge Pavilion in Fort Saskatchewan
Route:
This leisurely bike tour consists of a scenic 22 km ride, with 7 km on pavement and 15 km on gravel. A gravel bike or mountain bike is required. This route takes riders south through West River’s Edge Park and continues south onto the scenic River View RVA Strathcona Riverside Trail, and across the river on the new RVA Edmonton/Strathcona Footbridge, returning to the starting point. This route is flat. A few stops will be made at scenic points of interest.

Difficulty: Easy—Medium
This event is suitable for average riders, offering a leisurely pace and plenty of opportunities to take in the beautiful surroundings.
Schedule:
Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time to check in and get situated. The group will depart promptly at 9:00 a.m. To help us stay on schedule, please arrive by 8:45 a.m.
Requirements:
Each participant must have a helmet and a bell to participate in this ride.
