This tour is a mostly flat, gently sloping 15 km out-and-back loop that follows lower Mill Creek and part of the North Saskatchewan River through a historic part of the city. We will explore several iconic bridges, the sites of Edmonton’s original industries, and how the new and old have shaped the Edmonton river valley we all enjoy. This is a fairly easy ride suitable for most cyclists. Bikes must be in good working orderย and have a bell; the rider must have a helmet and be familiar with how their bike functions. All types of bikes are welcome.
