Join renowned mycologist Martin Osis for an engaging exploration of the mushrooms and fungi that thrive within the river valley ecosystem. As we walk the trails around Battery Creek, participants will learn how to identify common mushroom species, understand their important ecological roles, and gain insight into the complex relationships between fungi, plants, wildlife, and soil health.
This walk is designed for anyone with an interest in nature, whether you’re a seasoned mushroom enthusiast or simply curious about the hidden world beneath your feet.
