📍 Strathcona County side of the bridge

This celebration will mark not only the opening of the bridge, but also the unveiling of its official name. Join us as community members, dignitaries, and partners gather to commemorate this important milestone in regional connectivity.

Getting There

Parking is very limited. To ensure space for dignitaries and confirmed guests, the first two parking lots on the Strathcona County side will be reserved. We encourage everyone else to carpool, cycle, or walk to the event where possible.

Why This Bridge Matters

This new bridge strengthens the continuous regional trail network, linking communities and providing new opportunities for recreation, active transportation, and connection with nature. It represents years of collaboration and investment in the vision of a fully connected 100 km trail system from Devon to Fort Saskatchewan.

We invite everyone to come celebrate this exciting addition to our river valley trail system. Together, we’ll take one more step toward completing a world-class network of trails for all to enjoy.
